The Vic Theatre has a charming vintage aesthetic, but the seating is aged. VFF is working towards replacing the seating with contemporary-style seats, making it easier to sit and stand for our many of our community members that may otherwise require assistance. This accessibility renovation will allow us to better serve our community of patrons and partnering charities.
The Vic Theatre is a Victoria, BC institution that has existed in various incarnations throughout its history. Since 2013, the Victoria Film Festival has operated The Vic, showing independent, festival-circuit, and art films year round and serving as a main venue for the Film Festival each February.
In addition to bringing a diverse range of films, VFF also hosts fun events like Quote-Alongs, Sing-Alongs, and classics like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Sound of Music, and other favourites.
