Our Mission
Village Schools Canada is a Christian organization dedicated to furthering education in rural Africa.
We partner with villages to help them build their own schools for their own children.
We raise funds for scholarships so that even the child from the poorest family has a chance to go to school.
We equip schools with necessary educational supplies, resources and equipment.
We send missionary teachers and train them to teach in villages in Africa.
We love people and therefore we bring the Gospel, medical care, community development and education to villages in Africa.
About Village Schools International of Canada
In 2005 our sister organization, Village Schools International, opened our first 3 schools, built 22 classrooms, received 13 missionary teachers from America, and enrolled 832 students. Today, we have twenty-six schools in villages in Tanzania which are providing an education to nearly 7300 students, and we are currently partnering with people in 188 villages, working together to try to build an additional 138 classrooms this year and to open at least two more of the six new schools under construction.
