Winnipeg Centre Vineyard is a community located in Winnipeg's North-end since 1995. In 1998 we partnered to plant the Kathmandu Vineyard in Nepal. Since then we have seen communities planted across Nepal and North-Eastern Himalayan region of India. Vineyard Himalayas is an indigenous-led family of communities numbering over 29 across the region. Winnipeg Centre Vineyard and Vineyard Himalayas have maintained a close relationship which is characterized as being familial, collaborative and mutually beneficial.
Winnipeg Centre Vineyard has partnered with Vineyard Himalayas to work extensively on the ground in relief and recover efforts resulting from the earthquake in 2015. A fund called 'KTM Rebuild' has been set up specifically to focus on these efforts.
