Welcome Friend Association is a registered Canadian charity creating brave, affirming spaces for 2SLGBTQ+ youth and families. Our flagship program, Rainbow Camp®, provides life-changing experiences that reduce isolation, build confidence, and remind young people they are not alone.

Many of the youth we serve come from communities where inclusive, identity-affirming programs simply do not exist. For them, Rainbow Camp® is often the first place they feel fully safe being themselves.

Co-Founders Harry Stewart and his husband Chris Southin were awarded the Governor General of Canada Meritorious Service Medal for their contribution to inclusive community building and youth well-being.
