The Niagara SPCA & Humane Society is one of Ontario’s largest and most active animal welfare organizations, serving communities across the Niagara Peninsula.

We operate five centres, including shelters and adoption hubs, where animals receive safety, medical care, rehabilitation and a chance at a forever home.

Our work also includes community veterinary services through our Wellness and low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic helping make essential care more accessible for families and their animals in our community.

Each year, thousands of animals come through our doors in need of healing, protection, and hope. Through the generosity of donors, partners, and foundations, we are able to provide lifesaving care and create pathways to adoption for animals who might otherwise have nowhere to turn.

Our impact is powered by a dedicated team of more than 200 volunteers who give their time every day. From dog walkers cat cuddlers and foster volunteers to adoption support teams, they ensure animals receive enrichment, exercise, and compassion while they wait for their forever homes.

We also provide animal control and by-law services, supporting safer, more humane communities for both animals and people.
