The West Carleton Food Access Centre is a registered charity that serves families in need in West Carleton. West Carleton is a part of Ottawa and a community that is primarily rural although with the convenience of nearby urban amenities. We donate five days worth of food items to families facing adverse circumstances including canned goods, milk, cheese, eggs, bread, meat and fresh fruits and produce on a monthly basis.

We are proud to be a 100% volunteer run organization and enjoy solid community support. Over a dozen local organizations and many individual families raise food, awareness and donations to support our clients. We gratefully accept fresh produce and nonperishable donations to serve our clients with nourishing and healthy food. We strive to accommodate any special dietary requirements and provide fresh produce from local gardens and farms.

We work hand in hand with our community partners to help feed those in need on a monthly basis with the support of five days of food supplies. Our community has also been hit with a number of natural disasters over the past few years and we work with local organizations to support disaster struck people in West Carleton.
