About WIAIH / WEST ISLAND ASSOCIATION FOR THE INTELLECTUALLY HANDICAPPED INC
WIAIH is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization that works to increase opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism, strengthen their families and sensitize the community. Created in 1958 by concerned parents, WIAIH takes a leadership role in advocacy and provides programs designed to increase independence and empower over 800 people that depend on WIAIH annually.
WIAIH is spearheading the KIZMET Centre initiative where young ones will get the stimulation they need and parents will find a network of support. Early experiences are crucial! Ensuring that every little one has the best possible childhood will result in happier, more resilient kids facing fewer mental health issues in their futures.
With almost 60 years of experience working with kids, WIAIH has the expertise to improve their lives. With your help and financial support, we can create this amazing place TOGETHER!
