About WEST ISLAND WOMEN'S SHELTER
Telephone support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week;
Secure shelter;
A place where women are heard, supported, and are encouraged to regain control of their life and retrieve their “joie de vivre”;
Support in various legal, financial and other procedures;
Counseling tailored to the special needs of children exposed to conjugal violence;
External services (without shelter)
Support in creating protection scenarios;
Post-shelter follow up;
Support provided to the families and friends of victims as well as professionals working with victims;
Access to subsidized housing.
