Our Mission
The West Vancouver Community Arts Council's mission is to foster community arts and support local artists at all levels in their creative journey, whether emerging or established, so that we can bring people together to strengthen and balance a vibrant and healthy community.
About WEST VANCOUVER COMMUNITY ARTS COUNCIL
The West Vancouver Community Arts Council was established in 1968 and can be found in the Silk Purse Arts Centre on the waterfront near John Lawson Park. The WVCAC presents programs that enrich and enhance the cultural needs of the community such as visual art exhibitions, concerts, theatre, literary events, lectures and workshops. We also make our space available to arts and culture groups so that they may have an encouraging space to operate from.
