Willow Creek Baptist Church – Advancing the Gospel, Developing Disciples, Investing in the Next Generation

Located in Midhurst (just north of Barrie), Ontario, Willow Creek Baptist Church exists to follow the way of Jesus and advance the good news of the gospel in our community and beyond.

Our Mission

We are committed to the simple yet profound vision of “disciples who make disciples.” That means we want to not only walk as followers of Jesus ourselves, but intentionally invest in others—mentoring, equipping and walking alongside them so that the impact multiplies.

Core Focus Areas

1. Discipleship

At Willow, we believe that every believer matters and that growth in Christ happens in community, through spiritual practices, real relationships, and lived-out faith. Our Sunday services, small groups, and ministries are all rooted in the Word and the person of Jesus.

2. Next Generation & Youth

We are passionate about the next generation. Our youth ministry invites students in Grades 6-12 to participate in weekly gatherings (Tuesdays for Jr High, Thursdays for Sr High), where they engage in fun, relational, and intentionally gospel-centered activities. We believe young people are not just the church of the future—they are a vital part of the church of today.

3. Internships & Leadership Development

As Willow grows, we are investing in interns and emerging leaders who will carry the torch into the next seasons of ministry. Our vision includes staff and internship spaces, small-group rooms, and a facility designed to equip both the current church and the future leaders of the church. 

4. Advancing the Gospel

From our local neighbourhood in Springwater Township and Midhurst, to our national and global mission partners, we are building on the foundational call of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) to make disciples who multiply.
