Founded in 1983 by visionary, community-minded leaders, the WindsorEssex Community Foundation, is dedicated to making our communities better places to live, work, learn and grown by strategically connecting philanthropy to community needs and opportunities. We help individuals, charitable organizations and corporations engage in philanthropy to create healthy, vibrant communities. We take a broad view of what each community needs to succeed, providing grant funding to everything from human services, education, arts, and culture to heritage, recreation, the environment and our children.

Each donation received by the WECF is held in perpetuity, meaning your gift to us is never spent, but instead it is held forever by the WECF and interest earned from your donation is used to grant back to local charities annually.
