The neighbourhood we operate in is vastly underserved, and at present, there is no community centre. There are a number of available supports for people facing immediate homelessness and some limited childcare supports, but no services for individuals and families living in the neighbourhood, especially Indigenous community members.

The Renew. (re)Imagine. campaign is about to change all of that through the redevelopment, renovation, and revitalization of the Anishinaabe Fellowship Centre at 287 Laura Street.

The completion of this project will provide an endless amount of opportunities, including healthy cooking classes, expanded children's programming, pow wow dancing, intergenerational mentorship, sacred fires and sweat lodges.
