WomanACT has been providing coordination, planning and community mobilization in Toronto since 1991. Today, we are a charitable organization with a membership of organizations and individuals working to ensure an effective and collaborative response to violence against women across our communities.
We provide leadership to cross-sectoral groups, conduct research and policy analysis and provide public education. We believe that ending violence against women and advancing gender equity is everyone's business. That's why we bring people together, generate evidence, build capacity and push for bold solutions.
