What We Do

House to Home by WINS: With more than 120 Calgary-based referring agencies, we provide hundreds of thousands of dollars each year in free clothing, housewares and furniture to local women in need and their families.

Community Resource Hubs: Located in two housing complexes across Calgary and two of its largest retail locations, our Resource hubs provide families in need with a space to come together, share, and learn information and skills to move them towards self-empowerment and self-sufficiency.

WINS Thrift Stores: Through the generous donations of individuals and corporations, our 6 family thrift stores, a bulk thrift store and our online shopping portal sell affordable goods with all revenues supporting our community programs offered to women in need and their families in Calgary.

Retail Ready and Warehouse Ready: two employment services provided by WINS. The holistic approach of Retail Ready and Warehouse ready aims to empower Calgarians by building confidence, shaping values and attitudes and growing skills so they are able to find and maintain employment with the retail or warehouse industries.

Who We Help

WINS works with women in low-income situations. This includes:

- women coming out of shelters

- single mothers and their children

- women in transition

- new Canadians

- Calgarians going through hardships
