About WOODBINE HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH,
Open and welcoming congregation located in a working class neighbourhood in East York, Toronto. We do some "regular" church stuff by exploring the mystery of Creation and embracing both the awe and struggle of living. Since 2014 we have been doing live theatre in the neighbourhood, through our inter-generational Drama Club, Summer Drama Camps and our Annual Arts Fest, a celebration of Creativity through visual and performance art. We are in relationship with L'Arche Toronto. We provide community space for bustling local Guiding and Scouting groups and activities. And we now, since the Summer of 2025, provide a home base for the East Toronto Be in Christ congregation.
