Double your impact for Arctic wildlife this Giving Tuesday – Give now
Polar bears, caribou and narwhal are iconic Canadian wildlife and essential to the vitality of Arctic ecosystems and communities. But as the Arctic heats up, their habitats are changing.
At WWF-Canada, we’re focused on giving Arctic species the best possible chance at adapting to a rapidly warming world through the WWF-Canada’s Arctic Species Conservation Fund (ASCF).
ASCF supports groundbreaking wildlife research and community-led conservation efforts that are making a real difference. Already the ASCF has:
- identified every single walrus haulout in the Canadian Arctic,
- documented new behaviour in narwhal and bowhead whales,
- reduced conflicts between humans and polar bears, and
- advanced protections for hundreds of thousands of square kilometres of critical habitat.
This Giving Tuesday, join us as we continue to build a future where Arctic wildlife can survive and thrive, now and forever. From now until 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 3, your gift will be matched* to make twice the impact for Arctic species conservation.
Disclaimer:
*In support of WWF-Canada’s important conservation work, our dedicated Arctic conservation supporter, the Alan and Patricia Koval Foundation, will match all one-time Giving Tuesday donations up to a total of $50,000 made before 11:59 p.m. on December 3, 2024 in support of the Arctic Species Conservation Fund. Please note that monthly gifts will not be matched.
In the eventuality that we raise net funds in excess of $50,000 (excludes matching gift), the remaining funds will be redirected toward other important WWF-Canada work.
