Th’YARC (The Yarmouth Arts Regional Council) Playhouse and Arts Centre is the largest multi-function performance centre in Southwestern Nova Scotia. Th’YARC presents both professional and amateur productions, including dramas, comedies, and musicals. With a mandate to educate, entertain, and promote both the performing and visual arts in Southwestern Nova Scotia, the centre consists of a 325-soft seat theatre with fly tower, an art gallery, an artist studio, an etching studio, and a costume studio. It operates year-round with a staff of two and approximately 300 volunteers.
