Every summer at the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth, 1400 children experience summer camps. Of those, 1 in every 5 families will require your help to register their children for a safe summer at the Y.

• 1 week of Big Cove camp costs families $750 to $2,100 per child depending on their age category.
• 1 week of Day Camp at the YMCAs in Halifax costs families $250 per child

This summer, we want to give 1,300 kids the chance to shine bright in Atlantic Canada. Your donation will give the gift of camp and create memories that will last a lifetime. Our goal in Halifax is to raise $30,000 to send 70 kids to summer camp this year. Every dollar raised will go directly towards paying for camp registration.

All children need access to safe and enriching summer experiences. At YMCA Camps, friendships blossom, self-confidence emerges, independence grows, and through it all our campers build resilience to help them face new challenges.
