Rose of Sharon provides counselling, education and parenting resources to prenatal and parenting young mothers throughout York Region.
For 40 years, Rose of Sharon has supported young moms in York Region with free programs and essential resources. From finishing high school to learning parenting skills, accessing counselling, and receiving food, diapers, and baby supplies, we help moms and their children thrive.
One mom shared: "Being part of Rose of Sharon was life changing. I was 18, pregnant, and scared. With their high school program, childcare, tutoring, counselling, and practical supports, I was set up for success. The staff, volunteers, and donors create a community that feels like family. My daughter and I are beyond grateful."
Our safe, welcoming space lets young moms set goals, gain confidence, and build brighter futures—all free thanks to generous donors, community supporters, and grants.
