Did you know that the Art Gallery of Alberta, founded in 1924, is both the oldest cultural institution in Alberta and a non-governmental charitable organization? We are also the only museum exclusively dedicated to the presentation and preservation of visual arts in Alberta and have over 6,000 works of art in our permanent Collection!
Since 1924, the AGA has worked to enrich people's lives through our dynamic exhibitions and education programs. When you donate to the AGA, you are supporting a central gathering place for all Albertans to learn, explore and practice art. Moreover, you are supporting our Collection and helping to create opportunities for both established and emerging artists, who make us proud to live and work in Alberta.
