Our Mission
The Yukon Arts Foundation (YAF) is a charitable organization founded in 2001 to work with individual and community partners to raise funds in support of innovative arts and cultural programming and for venue upgrades and state-of-the-art equipment to enable that programming.
Directed by a dedicated and diverse volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation’s goal is to enrich the lives of all Yukoners through investment in our territory’s performing, visual and literary arts.
About YUKON ARTS FOUNDATION
The Yukon Arts Foundation reflects the mandate and goals of the Yukon Arts Centre Corporation and supports the general welfare of the Yukon arts community. YAF supports the Yukon Artist Relief Fund in support of visual artists needing emergency financial assistance and the Yukon Prize. The bi-annual Yukon Prize rewards exceptional Yukon visual artists. Current Projects also include: Indigenous Theatre, Yukon Arts Centre infrastructure upgrades and project support to many other arts organizations..
