The YWCA Regina Exists to support the diverse needs of women in the realization of their full potential. And further, it exists so that:

YWCA Regina provides
*safe, supportive housing (at no cost) to women & children fleeing abusive relationships.
*safe, affordable housing to single women including support regarding life skills, problem solving & dealing with mental health issues.
*a homeless shelter for women and children
*an emergency receiving shelter for children
*safe housing to 16 & 17 year old girls while providing support and assistance in gaining skills necessary to lead independent adult lives.
*safe living environment for women who have come from federal correctional facilities. We offer the support & guidance necessary to successfully reintegrate into the community.
*group sessions for children & youth to find alternative non-violent ways of communicating.
*a program that allows children to have access to non-custodial parents.
*the opportunity for girls and boys to have access to supportive, safe female role models.
*affordable quality childcare.
