Opportunity Knocks NL:Exploring Solutions to Career and Employment Challenges Facing Women of Diverse Cultural and Racial Backgrounds in Newfoundland and Labrador
Opportunity Knocks NL is a one-day symposium that will explore solutions to career and employment challenges facing women of diverse cultural and racial backgrounds.
The symposium will offer a mix of sessions designed for newcomer women, local employers and employment support organizations, as well as an "UnPanel" session that will facilitate collaborative sharing of knowledge, experiences, and skills between all of our speakers and attendees. Over lunch, local organizations and employers are encouraged to set up a registered booth to further engage attendees*.
The day will be an exciting chance to explore strategies to develop employment and mentorship opportunities, as well as support the entrepreneurial activities of immigrant women.
