We are Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church located in the hamlet of Philipsburg just west of Waterloo, Ontario. We have been around since 1843 and in 2023 we celebrated our 180th Anniversary. Our Pastor is Leanne Darlington. We have an active group of members who strive to serve God by helping each other, our neighbors, and those we don't even know. One neat thing we do is our Project R.E.D. group. This group meets weekly to knot blankets which are then given to local agencies, as well as to kids requiring an overnight hospital stay, and to anyone who would benefit from receiving a blanket, to show them that we are thinking and praying for them.
