Our Mission
Our congregation shall proclaim the Gospel of Christ through celebration and sacrifice. It shall be committed through this proclamation to a Ministry of Evangelism to all people emphasizing a programme of teaching and witness.
About ZION LUTHERAN SSM
Zion Lutheran Church currently has 335 member families. Our services are Sunday at 8:30am and 10:00am. We have a wonderful choir and Sunday school at the 10:00am service. Coffee and fellowship follows this service as well. In the summer, we also offer a Wednesday evening service.
There are many opportunities to get involved with our services, groups, and missions. Our youth raised over $5000 with their lenten appeal in 2008 to purchase 3 water wells for Africa. Our Women's (ELW) and Men's (ZEM) groups meet monthly and support many worthwhile causes and have lots of fun. Our church supports Brian Rude, a missionary in El Salvador, Vincent Place, a men's shelter and Pauline's Place, a youth shelter in our community.
