In summer of 2018, the old Boiler (50-plus years old) heating the Sanctuary and Church Hall was decommissioned and replaced with a new Forced-Air Heating system. Despite the high initial setup and installation costs, St. Andrew's anticipates huge, significant savings for regular maintenance and service calls - supporting the decision to switch to the new system.
Additionally, the system can be switched to provide Air Conditioning throughout the Sanctuary and Church Hall during periods of hot weather.
The Board of Managers has implemented a funding strategy to finance the cost of the new Forced-Air Heating system's purchase and installation costs. However, donations designated towards this project are gratefully appreciated.
For more details about this heating system retrofit project, feel free to contact the St. Andrew's Board of Managers.
