Who is Bethell Hospice?

Bethell Hospice, located in the quiet village of Inglewood, ON provides personalized hospice palliative care to enhance the care at end of life for individuals facing a life-limiting illness, as well as comfort and support for families dealing with loss.

Each of our 10 private resident rooms feature wide doors that open directly to our beautiful gardens. Our professional care team provides pain and symptom management, comfort, and 24 hour a day nursing care. Support is also available to our residents and their families through our Social Work and Psychosocial Spiritual Care teams.

Dignity and comfort are the cornerstones of care at Bethell Hospice and we welcome people of all backgrounds, cultures and religions.

Funding and Community Support

Hospice palliative care facilities receive partial government funding through the Ontario Ministry of Health, contributing only to direct care costs of nursing and medical staff. 

This funding does not include medical or food supplies; bedding/linens for resident use; or maintenance of the facility or grounds, all required to provide the highest standard of care for the resident and their family members. 

As a result, we are dependent on the generosity of donors, sponsors and community supporters to help fundraise over $1.7 million dollars this year alone. This amount keeps the doors of Bethell Hospice open and provides all services at no cost to residents or their families, and individuals in the community who require palliative care and bereavement support.
