The Abbotsford Arts Council was created to develop and enhance the arts in the Abbotsford community. The Arts Council consists of members, volunteers and directors representing diverse artistic, economic, political, and cultural interests of community members of all ages.

We encourage and support local arts organizations and individuals, including artists of all levels, by coordinating projects and events on our own and through partnerships to address the needs of our members.

We provide opportunities that promote and stimulate the arts in our community, and are a resource for arts information.

Established in 1971, the Abbotsford Arts Council acts as a resource for local artists while promoting the vision, creativity, and energy of the Abbotsford community through the arts. Nearly 70 local arts, heritage and culture organizations receive support under the umbrella of the Abbotsford Arts Council, and the talents of hundreds of local artists are showcased by the Abbotsford Arts Council each year at the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique, the Envision Financial Coffee House Concert and Concert in the Park Series, the Arty Awards and the Christmas Artisan Gift Fair.
