The mission of ABCD: Art Building Children’s Dreams is to provide financial assistance to the schools and families of orphans and children at risk by using the children’s art to raise funds for their education and for community development.

About ABCD: Art Building Children's Dreams

ABCD: Art Building Children's Dreams is a small, dedicated group of people who are working to improve the lives of close to 50 disadvantaged children in rural Tanzania. Our dream is that with the education that our donors and supporters are funding for these children, they will become healthy, happy and contributing members of their own villages and communities.

The children's innate creativity is utilized as a vehicle for helping themselves out of poverty towards well-being through education. When we visit the children and their families annually, the children are given the opportunity and the instructional help to make art, which they love doing! It comes naturally. This art is brought home to Canada and shared with the children's supporters and with the general public in order to raise funds for their school fees, uniforms, supplies and other needs they may have.
