You CAN make a difference!

Since 1980, ACT 2 Child and Family Services has helped transform the lives of those who have experienced sexual abuse, trauma, violence, grief, loss and parenting challenges.  ACT 2 works with children, youth and adults to help them rebuild their lives through counselling, education, housing and support.

ACT 2 is a non-profit registered charity providing counselling and housing services primarily in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, Surrey and Vancouver.  We provide counselling services in partnership with the BC Ministry for Children and Family Development, second stage transition housing and homeless prevention in partnership with BC Housing, and also provide affordable private pay counselling.

Provincial funding covers the very basic program delivery needs.  Additional individual and community financial support is essential for us to meet the many needs of our clients in additional counselling and program costs:

• Additional counselling beyond what government provides
• Play therapy toys and supplies
• Where Most Needed
