To honour and preserve Amber’s memory; to fulfill some of Amber’s unfulfilled hopes and dreams by providing meaningful incentives and rewards to students who have made personal financial commitments and sacrifices in the pursuit of excellence.

About Amber Webb-Bowerman Memorial Foundation

Amber was an extraordinary person and an exceptional journalist — a dedicated, diligent and talented writer, editor and publisher — who was murdered on May 27, 2008. She was 30 years old. In her honour, the Foundation advances education by providing scholarships, bursaries, awards and other forms of financial assistance to students enrolled in Journalism, Arts and Fine-Arts programs in western Canada.
