As you are reading this, young, healthy animals are being euthanized in communities right across Canada simply because there are not enough homes for them all. The pet overpopulation crisis we are currently experiencing is a direct result of animals that have been left un-spayed and un-neutuered.
One un-spayed female cat and her offspring can produce 420,000 cats in only 7 years. And in just under 7 years, one un-spayed female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 dogs.
Animal Aid Foundation's mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets by ensuring that as many animals as possible are altered (spayed and neutered). The Foundation does not have paid staff -- 100% of your donation goes to help us provide funding for spay/neuter programs.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Help us to reduce the number of animals being euthanized by making a donation today.
Feel the personal satisfaction of knowing you are helping to save an animal's life by helping us raise much needed funds.
Be part of the solution.
Adopt your next pet from a community rescue group or city run shelter. Remember, when you adopt an animal you're saving two lives: the one you're adopting and the one you're making room for.
Spay and neuter your pets so that they are not contributing to the already out-of-control animal population and promote the spay/neuter message.
