Annauma’s goal is to link community, philanthropists, corporate partners, funders, and governments interested in investing in community-identified needs and capacity building. There have been many advancements in Nunavut over the past few decades, yet there are families who still need some support to meet some of their basic needs, including safety, housing, and food, as well as to uphold the cultural identity and language that defines core self-worth and dignity. 

Inuit communities know the best solutions to the social issues they are experiencing.  Annauma supports communities to take actions to implement their own solutions and will serve to provide this support in the most impactful and respectful ways.
