Antyx Community Arts is a non-profit organization that uses the arts and community development processes to create opportunities through free programming for youth ages 12-24 to become more engaged in their community and experience increased community connection.

Our strategy incorporates using our youth’s ideas to address community-identified issues through different art mediums such as painting, sketching, rap and hip hop, which often results in the creation of community arts projects such as murals, sculptures and public performances and events. Our facilitators focus on guiding and empowering youths to use their creativity to explore critical issues and make positive social change within Calgary. The arts open the door to self-reflection and self-expression, allowing youth to explore who they are and their place in the world.
