The Atlantic Boychoir is the first and only Provincial choir of boys and young men in Canada. This year we are exceptionally excited to be expanding to the rest of the Atlantic provinces, starting with New Brunswick.

The ABC prides itself on the inclusive and safe environment it creates for boys and young men to grow emotionally, culturally, and of course, musically. We strive to promote a space for these boys to discover masculinity in a non-toxic way, focusing on traits such as empathy, communication, caretaking, and cooperation.

 The ABC provides artistic training for over 80 boys and young men from four to twenty-two in four choral centres across the Atlantic region. The repertoire includes both traditional and modern works of both Canadian and International composers, famous classical compositions from all musical periods, Newfoundland folk songs, choral collaborations with indigenous artists, contemporary music, and choral arrangements of popular music.

Past years took the ABC on tour to Europe with concerts in Prague, Tabor, Budweis, Vienna, Munich and Nuremberg. We have collaborated with exceptional Canadian and international artists, including The Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra (Marc David), Nurnberger Symphoniker (Lucius Hemmer) and the world-famous The King’s Singers. To date, we have released two professional recordings.
