For over 40 years, Pets & Friends has been dedicated to bringing the healing quality of pets to those who need it and don’t otherwise have access. Our mission is to provide free pet therapy visitations to hospitals, care facilities and seniors homes, and universities across the Lower Mainland. Since our inception, our dedicated volunteer pet therapy teams have been offering warmth, love and compassion to students, patients, seniors, veterans, and more across our community.

Our pet therapy teams, comprised of over 160 volunteers and their furry companions, are currently serving over 200 facilities in the Lower Mainland. Every day we see first-hand how a visit with a pet can normalize environments, impart a “paws-itive” outlook, and provide unconditional love and acceptance that words alone cannot offer.
