Bee Me Kidz is an educational, non-profit organization that teaches at-risk elementary aged children and their families to develop the necessary skills needed to be successful in school and life.

 Currently, we have four Saturday programs and operate in five elementary schools. Bee Me Kidz works in the schools during the week and with the whole family on Saturday teaching social and emotional learning.

Each week Bee Me Kidz serves over 1,500 individuals (150+ parents attend Parent Group weekly) in our 5 Bee Me Kidz Schools and four Saturday programs. In the 2017/2018 school year Bee Me Kidz served over 25,000 meals and snacks.      

Bee Me Kidz recently underwent a program evaluation by University of New Brunswick. A few of the buzzworthy results included: 

o 100% of participants enjoyed the program and found it educational

o  98% of parents feel hopeful about the future

 o  91% of children who attend Bee Me Kidz have improved self-esteem

o  89% of parents said their own mental health improved by attending Bee Me Kidz

o  92% of parents felt more connected to their community

o  72% of parents reported an improvement in their relationship with their child

o  48% of parents reported their children improved their academic performance
