Our Mission

Belwood Lodge & Camp is dedicated to meeting the summer recreational needs of children, youth and adults who are mentally challenged. Our programs are designed to provide campers with exceptional experiences while ensuring thier safety and a positive holiday experience.

We provide care givers a chance to enjoy a holiday and well deserved rest without worrying about thier loved ones.

About BELWOOD LODGE & CAMP

Belwood Lodge & Camp is a residential camp for mentally challenged children, youth and adults located near the Town of Fergus, Ontario. In 2006 we celebrated 60 years of providing summer recreational experiences including crafts, boating, adaptive bikes, swimming, hiking, animal care and much more to approximately 450 campers each summer.

Belwood Lodge & Camp accepts each camper for who they are and what challenges they face on a daily basis. We encourage them to be themselves, focus on their strengths and have a great time.
