For the people of Dekpor, a rural village in Ghana, it is a daily struggle to survive. Everyone lives well below the poverty level.

Dekpor School Development Organisation is a small group of volunteers working hard to make a difference. We need your help to ensure that we can maintain the 150 children on our life-saving food programme. In fact, we’d like to help all 1000 students at the local school, but funding stands in the way.

It costs $165 to feed a child for a whole year. We employ local women to make the two nutritious meals each school day, and it is the promise of this food that often entices a child to make the effort to get to school. In addition, when we put a child on our food programme they also automatically get national health insurance coverage so they are able to get medical care. 

ANY dollar amount can be directed to our food programme. Every donation DOES make a difference! Just 50 cents provides two meals. Give generously!
