Design Talks Institute is dedicated to advancing public knowledge on design in the built environment.
We produce research and disseminate the results to the public through exhibitions, discussions and open forums, each with the aim of advancing education on architecture and design.
Our workshops, seminars and conferences bring scholars and practicing architects, artists, and designers to draw upon multiple perspectives to the contemporary challenges of architecture and urbanism. We produce and install exhibitions that further public dialogue on contemporary considerations in the urban environment.
Serving as a public forum, the discussions, screenings, events and exhibitions foster dialogue that is broad in approach. Topics cover a range of contemporary issues on spatial form including heritage, mobility, community and livability, affordability and access, and the social and cultural significance of the public realm.
