To encourage, educate and support parents of school-aged children by providing opportunities to build positive parenting skills and healthy community connections.

About DUFFERIN PARENT SUPPORT NETWORK (DPSN)

The Dufferin Parent Support Network (DPSN) is a collaborative network of parents and community agencies who came together in 1999 to provide a network of support for parents of school-aged children.

Together we provide Dufferin parents with:

. general parenting information

. referral to community resources that support families

. parent education workshops and presentations

. co-creators of Dufferin Family Directory Website

. training and support of Parent Leaders in schools, businesses and community groups

. skill building for facilitators and community leaders

. community events including the Dufferin Children & Youth Festival

By supporting parents, DPSN helps kids in Dufferin grow up to be productive adults and well rounded community members.
