Kamloops Out Of The Cold Shelter Society was founded in 2007 by a group of concerned community members who wanted to make a difference in the lives of homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown to become a seven night of the week homeless shelter, serving over 14,000 men and women each year with shelter and serving over 30,000 meals yearly. 

Kamloops Out Of The Cold Shelter Society has achieved many milestones over the years, including expanding our facilities, increasing our outreach efforts, and launching new programs to better serve our guests. We strive to ensure that our guests feel valued and valuable. We provide opportunity for self growth through recovery meetings, mental wellness groups, Indigenous Talking Circles and employment opportunities. Our team provide referrals to detox, treatment and work to move our guests towards supportive and sustainable housing.
