The Lethbridge HIV Connection Society (ARCHES) is a non-profit, charitable organization registered under the Societies Act of Alberta. The services of this society consist primarily of harm reduction client services: support, education, and advocacy for marginalized individuals in our community. At the present time, the Lethbridge HIV Connection Society (ARCHES) runs one program: The Indigenous Recovery Coach Program. OUR MISSION
To empower individuals in recovery with cultural guidance.
The Indigenous Recovery Coach Program is a peer-to-peer community-based and culturally informed recovery coach program, supporting adults undergoing opioid agonist therapy for opioid or methamphetamine addiction in Lethbridge. The program combines one-on-one community-based case management practices with culturally-focused healing and behavior relapse prevention.
