We are dedicated to making a positive impact on this remote village and neighbouring communities along the Kurinwas River. Our school servs students in these remote communities that are only accessible by boat. Until Amparo International opened Colegio Amparo, access to education was extremely limited and only went to grade 6. We now serves students from kindergarten to secondary school ensuring that every student completes their education with full graduation. The school’s adult education program serves many more by helping improve literacy to this struggling region.
