Our Mission

The OSAS is an approved charitable organization founded in 1996 to assist in the adoption and relocation of retired and non racing Standardbred horses. Our program helps to educate and assist in the retraining and management of the horses. We take the time to match the desires and the abilities of the adoptive families to the temperment and capabilities of each horse. Our continuous follow up on each horse after adoption adds to the strength of the program

About ONTARIO STANDARDBRED ADOPTION SOCIETY

We provide a second career for racing and Non racing Standardbred horses. We have adopted out over 200 horses across the province of Ontario since 1996. These horses are enjoyed in a various number of disciplines such as - Police work, endurance, dressage, jumping, barrels, trail riding and general pleasure horses.
