Notre Mission

ORA-Organization for the Rescue of Animals is a registered charitable organization, entirely run by volunteers, strickly no-kill, promoting the humane treatment of all animals and the preservation of wildlife.

While any animal species is the object of our concern and while we are devoted to protect their rights and interests, our work is mainly directed towards:

1. Rescuing stray, abandoned and abused cats and dogs.

2. Ending the senseless and un-necessary killing of thousands of companion animals in pounds in the Greater Toronto Area and in Southern Ontario.

3. Preserving Canadian Wildlife endangered by urban sprawl.
