About ORFUND FOUNDATION

Orfund Foundation provides relief and support to African AIDS orphans and vulnerable children by working with community based organizations which generally operate day care centres. The centres usually cater to both pre school and school aged children. The centres normally focus on providing services which relief poverty, provide for the advancement of education and protection of child welfare rights. Services would include the provision of a safe environment, daily meals, educational learning, clothing, books, toys, trauma counselling and other health related services. Orfund Fundation also works to create sustainable assets such as onsite vegetable gardens which produce food for the children as well as providing them with a learning experience.

100% of all donations go to "on the ground projects' as all of Orfund Foundation's operating expenses are funded by board members.
