About OTTAWA DRAGON BOAT FOUNDATION
In 1998, a charitable component was added to the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival raising funds for local charities on an annual basis. The Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation was established in 2003 to help focus and grow this necessary component of the Festival. To date over $4.8 million has been raised through the annual fundraising drive to support over 50 charities.
In 2020 ODBF is proud to support Ottawa Food Bank, Debra Dynes Family House, Carefor Health & Community Services, Ausome Ottawa, Canadian Ski Patrol, Camp Ooch, St. Luke’s Table, St Joe’s Women’s Centre, A New Day Youth and Adult Services, and Children at Risk.

Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health, Boys & Girls Club of Ottawa, St. Joe's Women's Centre, Ottawa Humane Society, Bruyere Foundation, POGO, Candleighters Childhood Cancer Support, Tim Horton Children's Foundation, OCRI Breakfast Program, Algonquin College Foundation, Ottawa's Children Treatment Centre, Good Day Workshop, Shepherds of Good Hope, Helping With Furniture, Heartwood House, and Youth Services Bureau Foundation.
