About OTTAWA MODERN JEWISH SCHOOL

Ottawa Modern Jewish School (OMJS) is a contemporary Jewish school which provides a stimulating, enjoyable and high quality Jewish education. OMJS is a school that welcomes any family who wishes to learn about their Jewish roots and cultural heritage. Our school values diversity and school community, providing an inclusive environment for blended families. We are not affiliated with any synagogue or specific branch of Judaism. Children from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 7 are welcome to attend our classes which run Sunday mornings from 9:30- 12:30. Our curriculum includes: Contemporary Hebrew language studies; Traditions; History of the Jewish People (Both Biblical and Contemporary); Current Events/Jewish issues, and Yiddishkeit.
