Our Mission

"The name of Jesus will be Glorified in the parish of Our Lady of the Visitation."

Through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit we will discover and develop the gifts Jesus has bestowed upon us. We invite all people to know, love and serve Christ and proclaim his Gospel.

About OUR LADY OF THE VISITATION,

In 1845, Irish and French settlers gathered in Christ to celebrate as a community of faith, building a legacy that is Our Lady of the Visitation Parish.

The beautiful stone church of Our Lady of the Visitation with its towering steeple, reaching as it were for the skies, stands as a monumental memorial to our forefathers. High above the main entrance of the church in a niche in the facade is a statue of the Virgin Mary faded and worn with the mist of time, like a sentinel she stands overlooking all those who enter and leave and all those who have been carried to their last resting place.

Today, the parishioners of Our Lady of the Visitation embark on the largest construction project since the building of the church with the construction of a new Family Centre Parish Hall and separate Rectory.

Our Lady of the Visitation is a welcoming community and we invite you to join us.
